Time and attendance

Biometric Attendance Systems in Islamabad & Rawalpindi

The hardware is the easy half. These projects fall over on reporting — shift patterns, grace periods, half-days, overtime and the format payroll needs. We install fingerprint, face and card terminals, then spend the time that matters on the rules behind them, so month-end produces numbers somebody can sign off instead of a raw log to unpick by hand.

Fingerprint and card time attendance terminal

Terminals and how staff clock in

Fingerprint terminals

Clocking on a registered fingerprint. Removes buddy-punching, and suits stable teams working from a fixed premises.

Face recognition terminals

Hands-free clocking that works well where staff wear gloves or handle materials that make fingerprint reading unreliable.

Card and PIN terminals

Proximity card or PIN clocking for larger or frequently changing workforces, where credentials must be issued and cancelled quickly.

Combined access and attendance

One terminal that both opens the door and records the clocking, which avoids duplicate hardware at the same entrance.

Multi-device and multi-site setups

Several terminals reporting into one dataset, for separate entrances, floors or premises.

Attendance software and reporting

Shifts, late and early rules, overtime and absence configured so exported reports match how you actually pay staff.

Getting usable numbers out of it

  1. 1

    Enrolment

Each employee is registered on the terminal with a fingerprint, face template or card, linked to their staff record.

  2. 2

    Clocking

Staff clock in and out at the terminal. Each event is stored with a timestamp on the device.

  3. 3

    Collection

Records are collected from the terminal over the network, or transferred manually where no network is available.

  4. 4

    Rules applied

Your shift patterns, grace periods, break rules and overtime thresholds turn raw clockings into working hours.

  5. 5

    Reports

Daily and monthly attendance, late arrivals, early departures, absence and overtime, exported for payroll.

Equipment and brands

We install attendance terminals from established biometric manufacturers, chosen for the working environment and the size of the workforce.

  • ZKTeco
  • Hikvision

Manufacturer names shown here belong to those manufacturers. We list them because these are the lines we buy, fit and repair — not to imply any distributorship or formal partnership.

Maintenance and repair

We also support existing attendance systems — re-enrolling staff, correcting shift rules that produce wrong totals, replacing failed readers and reconnecting terminals that dropped off the network.

What affects the quotation

We do not publish prices, because the same job varies widely between sites. A written quotation follows a survey, and these are the factors that move the figure.

  • Distance — every metre between a device and the equipment position is cable, labour and a routing decision.
  • What the walls are made of, and whether we surface-mount, reuse conduit or cut into a finished building.
  • How much spare capacity you want designed in — leaving room now costs far less than a second visit later.
  • What can honestly be reused: cable, power, brackets, a serviceable recorder or panel.
  • Working conditions — height access, live premises, or evening work so trade is not disrupted.

Where we work

We are based at Office 5B, 1st Floor, Royal Plaza, 6th Road, Rawalpindi, Pakistan and carry out biometric attendance work across Rawalpindi and Islamabad. See areas we serve for more detail, or contact us to arrange a site survey.

Frequently asked questions

How does biometric attendance reporting work?

The terminal stores a timestamped record each time an enrolled employee clocks in or out. Those records are collected over the network into the attendance software, which applies your shift patterns, grace periods and overtime rules to turn raw clockings into working hours. You then export daily or monthly reports covering attendance, late arrivals, early departures, absence and overtime for payroll.

Does the fingerprint image get stored?

Typically no. Most terminals store a mathematical template derived from the fingerprint rather than an image of it, and the template cannot be reversed back into a usable fingerprint. Exact behaviour depends on the device, and we can confirm it for the model you choose.

What happens if a fingerprint will not read?

Worn fingerprints, cuts and certain kinds of manual work all cause read failures. Terminals normally allow a card or PIN as a backup credential, and face recognition is a practical alternative where hands are gloved or dirty.

Can attendance data be exported for payroll?

Yes. Reports export to common spreadsheet formats. We configure the shift and overtime rules during setup so the exported totals reflect how you actually calculate pay, rather than needing manual correction each month.

Can one device handle both attendance and door entry?

Yes. Combined terminals record the clocking and release the door from the same device. If door security is the primary requirement, see access control installation.

Networking & Cabling

Cameras, door controllers, attendance terminals and IP phones all end up on the same cabling, which is why a network installed carelessly turns every later fault into guesswork.

CCTV Installation

A camera is only worth its price if it is looking at something that matters, in light it can actually handle, recording to a disk with room left on it.
