We will not publish other people's buildings and camera positions on a public page — clients would rather we did not, and it tells you very little anyway. What follows is an honest description of the work we take on, the usual size of each job, and what you are left holding once we have finished. Typical installations
The property type drives the design far more than the brand of equipment does.
Offices
Entrance and reception cameras, access control on server and record rooms, biometric attendance at the main door, a PABX for extensions, and structured cabling tying it together.
Retail shops
Till and counter coverage, entrance and stockroom cameras, and remote viewing so the owner can check the shop outside opening hours.
Warehouses and yards
Perimeter and gate coverage, PTZ or panoramic cameras for open floor area, attendance terminals at the staff entrance and PoE networking across the distances involved.
Apartment buildings
Building intercom to each flat, entrance and lift-lobby cameras, access control on the main door and cabling to serve all of it.
Schools and clinics
Entrance, corridor and reception coverage, controlled access to restricted rooms, and networking sized for the building rather than a single room.
What a completed project includes
- A site survey before any figure is quoted, so the quotation reflects the real building.
- A written quotation setting out equipment, quantities and scope of work.
- Cabling installed and dressed, with devices mounted at agreed positions.
- Configuration completed and tested — recording, remote access, users and permissions.
- A handover walkthrough covering day-to-day use and what to check if something looks wrong.
- Manufacturer warranty on new equipment, as supplied, plus optional annual maintenance.
