A solar system is worth what it actually offsets, so we start from your bills and your load rather than from a panel count. On-grid systems for premises with a reliable connection, hybrid systems where outages have to be ridden through, and off-grid where there is no supply to work with. Panels, inverter, batteries where they are justified, mounting structure, protection and cabling are supplied and installed as one job.
What a system is built from
Inverters
On-grid, hybrid and off-grid inverters, selected for the array size and for whether the premises has to keep running during an outage.
Batteries
Lithium or tubular battery banks where backup is genuinely needed. Where the grid is stable, we will say so rather than sell storage that never pays back.
Mounting structure
Galvanised or aluminium structure fixed for wind loading, on flat roofs, sloped roofs and ground mounts.
Protection and cabling
DC and AC protection, earthing, surge arrestors and correctly rated cable, so the system is safe as well as productive.
Monitoring
Inverter monitoring so generation and consumption can be seen, and a drop in output is noticed before the next bill.

Maintenance and repair
We service existing solar installations — panel cleaning and output checks, inverter faults and error codes, battery banks that have lost capacity, loose or corroded DC connections and structures that need refixing.
What affects the quotation
We do not publish prices, because the same job varies widely between sites. A written quotation follows a survey, and these are the factors that move the figure.
- Distance — every metre between a device and the equipment position is cable, labour and a routing decision.
- What the walls are made of, and whether we surface-mount, reuse conduit or cut into a finished building.
- How much spare capacity you want designed in — leaving room now costs far less than a second visit later.
- What can honestly be reused: cable, power, brackets, a serviceable recorder or panel.
- Working conditions — height access, live premises, or evening work so trade is not disrupted.

Frequently asked questions
What size solar system do I need?
That comes from your bills and your load, not from the roof size. We review recent electricity bills and the equipment that actually runs, then size the array and inverter against the consumption you want to offset. A system sized on guesswork either under-delivers or costs more than it ever returns.
Do I need batteries?
Only if you need to run through outages. Where the supply is reliable, an on-grid system without storage is cheaper and pays back faster. Where load-shedding matters, a hybrid system with a battery bank sized for the essential load is the sensible middle ground.
Can solar run my air conditioning?
Yes, provided the system is sized for it. Air conditioning is a heavy load with a high starting current, so both the array and the inverter have to be specified with that in mind — which is exactly why we ask what equipment runs before quoting.
What maintenance does a solar system need?
Panels need periodic cleaning, since dust in this climate measurably reduces output, and connections and mounting should be checked. Inverters and batteries have their own service intervals. We service systems we installed and systems installed by others.
Do you handle net metering?
We install on-grid systems suitable for net metering and prepare the installation to the standard required. The application itself is made to your electricity distribution company, and we will tell you plainly what is involved before you commit.
